One of the main criticisms of the text “The
Catcher in the Rye” is that Holden does not act like a normal adolescent. Do
you agree? Read over the text and look at what instances you think he does
behave like a teenager and times when acts more like an adult. Include quotes
or paraphrase. If you set it out as a table it will allow you to make instant comparisons. This will be a useful too as you prepare the argument for your speech.
